ENGAGEMENTS

I present you Morgan & Caleb’s stunning and ever so classic (if I do say so myself) engagement session that took place in Downtown Detroit, Michigan at the Detroit Institute of Arts. Let’s be real it is an architectural masterpiece of a building. What is better than one of the largest, most significant art museums in the United States, DIA’s gorgeous white marble steps? As a detroit-er myself – far and few things are greater.

It started as a classic Michigan chilly day in Royal Oak when we welcomed their two pups in for a few photos prior to heading to the DIA. I adore it when clients bring their dogs! The dogs wore bandanas saying, “Our humans are getting married!” They are a part of our family so why not include them? Their dogs were so excited to be there.

After heading to the Detroit Institute of Arts, we began to photograph at the famous white marble steps that everyone knows. Morgan started the DIA portion of the engagement in a casual but dressy wool coat and ended the session in a super cute and trendy white dress.
